September 2, 2020:  Added Zoom link for last day (September 5)

August 31, 2020:  Updated home page for Day 3 of the convention.   Updated Future Conventions page with logo for Pittsburgh 2024, and adjusted text to clearly list conventions already scheduled.

August 28, 2020:  Added links to recordings of prior clinics and layout tours

August 25, 2020:  Website updated with details for Zoom on August 29.

August 21, 2020: Minor updates to home page on day (Zoom downloads)

August 18, 2020:  Added Zoom meeting info to Home page for first session (August 22)

August 2, 2020: Details of the on-line convention, St. Louis Online announced, with the schedule of events.

July 19, 2020:  Added future convention bid for Pittsburgh (2024).

June 6, 2020:  Added new page to main menu for future convention hosts.

May 26, 2020:  Cancellation notice posted and most pages on the site removed from the main menu.

April 10, 2020:  Added additional clinics.

March 22, 2020:  Added COVID-19 information to the Home page.  In summary, if we need to cancel the convention due the the coronavirus / COVID-19, we will refund registration fees.

March 21, 2020:  Clinics are here!   Check out the list of over 40 clinics and hands-on ("make & take") Hands-on Clinics clinics.

March 15, 2020:  Added two factory tours, several vendors, three new layouts, a modular layout and additional images.

February 29, 2020:  Added a list of the modular layouts that will be on display.  Also added several new layouts, and indicated those layouts that are outside the immediate St Louis area.  Updated the list of vendors.

February 19, 2020:  Added the Saturday evening auction to the main menu.

February 9, 2020:  Many additional vendors have been added.   The layouts available for tours have also been updated.  More to come!

October 11, 2019: We will be soliciting bids for 2024 and 2025 during awards night on Saturday. Talk it up among your friends and put together a bid. Let’s keep this going for another 40. If you have never hosted a convention before and are a little leery about committing, feel free to call us for advice and counsel. We’d love to chat and share our experiences. Email Pete Smith ( smithpb@sbcglobal.net ) to set up a phone call.  Currently scheduled conventions are:

  • St. Louis in 2020
  • Hickory in 2021
  • Seattle / Tacoma in 2022
  • Denver in 2023

October 11, 2019: Reminder that shirt orders must be placed before August 1, 2020.   Shirts will not be available for sale at the convention.

October 10, 2019: Link for online reservations at Fairfield Inn added.

October 6, 2019: Convention hotel now sold out.  Overflow hotels (Drury Plaza and Fairfield Inn) added to Hotels page.

September 28, 2018: Miscellaneous corrections, changes to contest categories, vendor hours, & vendor list

September 13, 2019:  Updated vendor list, revised attendee registration downloadable form

September 10, 2019: Added code and link for hotel bookings - reservations can now be made!

September 1, 2019:  The website is now live and online registrations can be made, along with merchandise orders.
