Hands-on ("Make & Take") Clinics
These clinics will be held in the Roucheport Room on the 3rd floor of the hotel. There is a fee to attend which covers the cost of supplies. Payment and sign-up arrangements are between you and the clinician. See the individual clinic descriptions for specifics.

90 mins $6.00 Attendance is limited to 15 people, first come, first serve, pay at the door. The fee is $6 and each student will make one or two fir trees in the scale of their choice. All materials will be provided.
Sagebrush Armature Trees Lloyd Lehrer 08:30am Friday
90 mins $8.00 Attendance is limited to 15 people, first come, first serve, pay at the door. The fee is $8 and each student will make one sagebrush tree in the scale of their choice. All materials will be provided.

$55 (O) Join Maureen and Rick from HunterLine, as they take you through, step by step instructions, to build your own Hunterline 30’ King Post Truss bridge in your scale. The fee includes the kit and two bottles of weathering mix. NOTE: Pre-Registration is required for this clinic. Sign up at Hunterline table. They take all major cards and PayPal.
A suggested list of tools to bring follows and it also applies to the Timber Portal Clinic (we are aware that some tools are not allowed on flights, so we bring extra):
- Work surface (cutting mat big enough for your scale)
- Leftover dish for stain
- Wood glue (fast tacking carpenters’ glue such as Titebond II, Elmers or LePages)
- Masking tape
- Waxed paper
- Pin vise (drill bit is included in the kit)
- Razor saw and/or Xacto knife
- Tweezers (very sharp point is helpful)
- Wire snips
- Small files
- Clamps
- Cheap brush
- Disposable gloves
- Patience.
